I went to the Wilmington Ruth's Chris for the first time for my solo birthday dinner. Mike with the deep Barry White voice was my server extraordinaire. He created an incredible experience for me with his attentiveness, attention to detail, and charming personality. Before the meal,..the bread...oh the bread! The raisin/hazelnut slices were delicious. For the main course, I had the 6-oz petite filet and creamed spinach. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the spinach was creamy and very flavorful! The birthday dessert was pure decadence! I will dine at Ruth's Chris over and over again!
I’ll start with the food, the veal ravioli appetizer was delicious. The salads were fresh and the homemade dressings are the best I’ve had. The steaks are absolutely amazing. The lobster Mac and cheese is one of the best sides on the menu. The mushrooms cremini and garlic mashed potatoes are a close second. The cream brulee is a must. Let’s talk about our server Joe, this guy is the absolute best server I have ever had the pleasure to meet. He makes you feel like you’ve been friends since childhood. The next time you go to Ruth’s Chris request Joe, you will leave with a new friend.
This was my birthday dinner from my amazing husband. Chris and Joe were our servers and were absolutely phenomenal! The food was (oh my goodness) the best we've ever had! We started with the BBQ shrimp for an appetizer. The main entree for myself was the baked stuffed chicken breast and a T-bone steak for my husband. We shared the sides of Zucchini fries and bacon-honey Brussel sprouts. Then for dessert it was the chocolate sin cake. Y'all these were top of the line choices cooked to perfection and served by the finest servers! If I could give more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat!
We had a wonder time because our server Amy made it a wonder time. It was definitely worth the pay because of her. She’s awesome. She gave us amazing recommendations, and kept our table spotless. If you come to Ruth Chris, request Amy if you want a great experience!
We came here for my boyfriend's birthday expecting some good steak and we were blown out of the water. The calamari was so good that we'll never be able to enjoy it anywhere else. The steak melts in your mouth. The drinks were amazing. The staff is very professional. It's very pricey but worth it.

She provided exceptional service — attentive, friendly, and made sure everything at our table was perfect from start to finish. We had dinner for two this Friday evening on the outside deck. The atmosphere was fantastic. The staff, the manager, and the bartender were very attentive and appreciative that we were there. They showed that appreciation in many unexpected ways. On top of that the food was excellent with good choices in the happy hour Portion of this Friday. Thank you so much for another wonderful experience. It is our intent to come back multiple times in the near future because of the way you handle your guests.
My wife and I had a blast. The food was hot and delicious. Our server was very attentive and even gave us a mini cheesecake on the house. Locality was great, and the restaurant was nice inside and out. You will spend a pretty penny no matter what you get, but for a special occasion, it was well worth it. I will definitely consider it again for future occasions that deserve fine dining.
